NXT Power Rankings: Nakamura’s Biggest Challenge

Lots of prep for Takeover Brooklyn dominated this week’s NXT and although it hurt this week’s show, the event on Saturday is going to be a magical one. Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who is most prepared for NXT’s big event.

Honorable Mention: Billie Kay: She’s been on a roll as of late and her match with Ember Moon at Takeover will prove if she belongs in the NXT Women’s Title picture.

5: Hideo Itami: He’s stronger and more confident than ever. But with no match at Takeover, how much momentum does he really have?

4: Bayley and Asuka: This could end up being the match of the event and for good reason. Bayley and Asuka have proven they can have great matches before and in a big fight situation, she’s one that always delivers.

3: The Revival and Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa: This may end up as one of the greatest tag team matches in NXT history. Following their impressive showings at the Cruiserweight Classic, Gargano and Ciampa are destined for bigger and better things.

2: Shinsuke Nakamura: Undefeated in NXT, Nakamura faces a huge challenge in Samoa Joe, a performer who doesn’t need a title to be over anywhere. That may be the biggest reason why The King of Strong Style leaves Takeover with the NXT Championship.

1: Samoa Joe: He’s done everything right while in NXT, from giving guys like Finn Balor and Baron Corbin feuds to elevate them to being a dominant NXT Champion. Regardless of whether he wins or loses at Takeover, his legacy in NXT is an awesome one.
