WWE RAW Coverage: Cass Did It, Strowman Returns, Joe Makes a Point

The revelation that Big Cass attacked Enzo Amore, the return of Braun Strowman and a win by Samoa Joe over Roman Reigns highlighted an otherwise stale episode of RAW that did little to build anticipation for Great Balls of Fire.

Matches:

Matt and Jeff Hardy vs. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows: The Club had Matt put away with the Boot of Doom, but Matt kicked out. A few seconds later, Matt hit the Twist of Fate and Jeff finished off Gallows with the Senton Bomb.

Finn Balor vs. Bo Dallas: Balor got the win with the Coup De Grace, but Dallas dominated throughout.

TJ Perkins vs. Akira Tozawa w/Titus O’Neill: Perkins was dominant at times, but Tozawa got the win with his Senton variation.

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe: This was a war as Reigns and Joe hit each other with everything they had. Although Reigns kicked out of the Urinage, Reigns escaped the Kokina Clutch and hit the Spear for a near-fall. Just when it appeared Reigns was going to win with the Spear, he was distracted by the returning Braun Strowman, allowing Joe to win with the Kokina Clutch.

Titus O’Neill and Apollo Crews vs. the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus: Crews and O’Neill were solid, but Sheamus and Cesaro won with the Double-Team White Noise.

Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax: This quickly deteriorated as Alexa Bliss and Emma joined the fight and got it taken off the books. Soon enough, Dana Brooke and Mickie James were involved before Bailey hit the ring and took out Bliss and Emma. Soon enough, James, Brooke, Banks and Bailey took out all the heels.
