WWE RAW Coverage: A Waste of Time

There’s three weeks to Summerslam, but there isn’t that sense of urgency. RAW is supposed to feel like anything can happen, but instead it’s stale and lethargic. Something’s got to change- and fast.

Matches:

Matt and Jeff Hardy vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Plenty of back and forth, most of which Gallows and Anderson dominated. After they couldn’t hit the Magic Killer, Matt hit the Twist of Fate and Jeff got the win with the Senton Bomb. After the match, the Hardy’s beat on The Revival on the ramp.

Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann vs. TJ Perkins, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari: Lots of offense, but Tozawa won with the Senton Bomb in a gutsy effort.

Seth Rollins vs. WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Sheamus w/WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Cesaro: Rollins had a tough time fighting with Cesaro’s interference but he got the win over Sheamus via Rollup. After the match however, Cesaro and Sheamus beat on The Architect before Dean Ambrose eventually made the save. Ironically, got beat on too.

Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman: After he used the ring steps to dispose of Strowman, Reigns Speared Joe to get the win.

Elias Sampson vs. Kalisto: Sampson got the win with the Neckbreaker even if Kalisto put up a fight.

Bayley vs. Nia Jax: This match meant nothing after Alexa Bliss got involved and helped get Bailey the win via DQ.

Big Cass vs. The Big Show: The match ended in a DQ after Enzo Amore jumped Cass from behind. Show got the last laugh with the Knockout Punch.
