Three solid matches and plenty of building for Bound For Glory made this week’s Impact another enjoyable effort. Even the squash matches had some type of storyline effect and because of that, the WWE could learn a thing or two about not wasting viewers’ time.
Matches:
The Cult of Lee: Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley vs. The Lucha Bros: Pentagon Jr. and Fenix: The Cult of Lee brought it. They almost won this match several times, but Fenix and Pentagon combined with the Spike Pentagon Driver for the win. After the match, oVe cut a promo challenging them once again.
Alisha vs. Katarina: After Joe Hendry and Grado distracted Katarina, Alisha won with the Rollup.
The Fraternity: Channing Decker and Trent Gibson vs. Impact Tag Team Champions: LAX: Santana and Ortiz w/Konnan: Gibson and Decker were solid but Ortiz and Santana won with the Street Sweeper. After the match, the OGz hit the ring and taunted LAX.
X-Division Champion: Brian Cage vs. Kongo Kong: Kong didn’t lay down and used his power, but Cage won with a massive F5.
Impact Champion Austin Aries w/Killer Kross and Moose vs. Fallah Bahh w/Kevin Matthews: This was probably Bahh’s best match in Impact. He fought, but Kross and Moose were too much. Aries used the Last Chancery for the tap-out win and then Moose, Kross and Aries destroyed KM.

Hickey Jr. is also a voice actor, having starred in the 2018 indie hit and 2019 Switch, PS4 and Xbox One release, The Padre (also serving as English language Story Editor), from Shotgun With Glitters. The sequel, The Padre: One Shell Straight to Hell was released in February 2021- Hickey also served as a Story Editor and Lead Voiceover performer. He has also done narration and trailers for several other titles including The Kaiju Offensive, Relentless Rex and Roniu’s Tale.
Hickey is also the lead voiceover performer on Mega Cat Studios’ upcoming title WrestleQuest, responsible for nearly 90 characters in the game, as well as Skybound's Renfield: Bring Your Own Blood, where he voices both Dracula and Renfield, as well as several other characters. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
