WWE RAW Coverage: Red Team Primed For Defeat at Survivor Series

Tying up a whole bunch of loose ends before Survivor Series, this week’s RAW was an entertaining one, even if it proved that Team RAW is in deep trouble against Team Smackdown.

Simply put, the Blue Team ladies absolutely decimated the far inferior RAW Women’s Division.

While they’ll take care of business in singles matches, even the Becky Lynch/Ronda Rousey encounter that the Smackdown Women’s Champ has plenty of momentum going into, the Red Brand doesn’t stand a chance in the other matches. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode Captains of any team? Seriously? A weak Women’s team as well has the Red Brand reeling before Survivor Series.

Matches:

RAW Team Team Division Battle Royal: The winners of this match were set to be the captains of the RAW Survivor Series Tag Team, but Braun Strowman hit the ring and destroyed everyone and proclaimed that the episode was all out him.

Ember Moon vs. Tamina Stuka w/Nia Jax: Snuka won with the Splash and after the match, Jax and Snuka beat on Moon.

Dolph Ziggler w/Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor: Despite being nailed with a Headbutt before the match by McIntyre, Balor countered a Rollup into one of his own and beat Ziggler.

RAW Team Team Division Battle Royal: This was a snooze-fest as the crowd didn’t care who won. After Gable was able to counter a Viktor attempt to throw him out into an Armbar, Roode managed to throw out the former NXT Tag Team Champion.

Elias vs. Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush: Lashley got the win thanks to interference from Rush, but Elias got the last laugh as he took them both out.

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley: The winner of this match was supposed to join the Survivor Series team, but Tamina, Mickie James and Mia Jax destroyed both competitors before Alexa Bliss announced Ruby Riott as the last member of the team.
