Battle Club Pro One 4 All Results: Sea Stars Steal the Show

The stacked card was filled with a ton of memorable in-ring moments and the continuing storyline between Diamante and Tasha Steelz- as well as Joey Ace’s arrival as a contender to Anthony Bowens Battle Club Franchise Title ensured the promotion’s first event of 2020 was a solid one.

Matches:

Boot Camp Match: Joey Ace vs. TJ Crawford vs. Charles Manson vs. DL Hurst vs. Joshua Wells vs. Still Life w/Apricots and Pears: Still Life was over big with the fans and all the competitors hit their share of spots (including Hurst’s beautiful Package Piledriver) in this 2005 TNA-styled matchup. While Manson had the match in the bag, Ace got back in it and won with a Blockbuster and a beautiful Spike DDT.

#1 Contenders Match for Vacant Battle Club Pro Tag Team Titles: Diamante and KC Navarro vs. Battle Club Pro Icons Champion Tasha Steelz and Christian Casanova: This was an absolute war. The strikes, counters and action was non-stop. Steelz and Casanova used the Spanish Sandals early and worked over Navarro in the corner with strikes and tag team maneuvers, but Diamante came back hard. After Navarro hit the Snap Suplex on Steelz, Diamante was on fire until Steelz countered with a pair of Snap Suplexes of her own. Diamante and Navarro managed to get the Sandals soon enough and then went on a Double Team frenzy and nearly won. Steelz and Casanova nearly won after the Bulldog and Scissors Kick, but Diamante hit the Code Red and then Rolled Up Casanova.

Richard Holiday vs. Mik Drake w/Mr. Martinez: Holiday gets stars for working the crowd and playing to Drake’s strengths here, but Drake, between his Elevated Dropkick and Powerslam proved he was back and ready to dominate again. Although this went back and forth throughout, Drake got the win with a Massive Overhead German Suppler after Mr. Martinez distracted Holiday on the apron.

Bad Company: Masha Slamovic and The Ultra Violette w/Gino Gotz vs. The Sea Stars: Ashley Vox and Delmi Exo: Vox was in the match for most of it and Violette and Slamaovic worked her over with strikes and Suplexes. Once Exo got settled in however, she delivered with a Blockbuster and got her team back in the match. Slamovic fought back though with a Top Rope Headbutt and all of a sudden we were locked in a stalemate until The Sea Stars reversed a pair of submission maneuvers into pinning combinations.

The Ugly Ducklings Rob Killjoy and Lance Lude w/Coach Mikey vs. The Mane Event: Midas Black and Jay Lyon: The Mane Event is awesome, as they were able to hit the same comedic spots as The Ducklings and keep a high athletic pace throughout. Coach Mikey naturally got involved as well and there was a ton of tag team maneuvers throughout. Up until this point, this was the most enjoyable match of the night. Although The Mane Event nearly won with a beautiful double-team Moonsault, The Duck Launcher gave Killjy and Lude the win.

Jessicka Havoc vs. Nick Gage: This match was pure grit and emotion. The crowd was absolutely invested. The action spilled to the outside and there were weapons, tables, doors, curses, you name it. Although Havoc was able to kick out of nearly all of Gage’s offense, he eventually put her away with the modified Urinage Backbreaker.

Triple Threat: Darius Carter vs. Mr. Grim vs. “The Black Bat” Trevor Aeon: After he refused to get in the ring with Sir Wilkins, Carter was forced to wrestle both Aeon and Grim. Carter was on the defensive early, but soon found ways to get into the match via strikes, pinning attempts and taunts. Grim, however, ever the powerhouse, hit the Powerslam in the corner on Carter in the corner on top of Aeon. Grim then went on the offensive with strikes and power moves galore, including Club Blows that took the air out of Aeon. Aeon wasn’t dome yet though and got in his share of offense before Carter snuck his way back into the match. After Grim and Aeon went on tears, Carter got the win with the Front Sleeper Slam.

The Rep: David McCall and Nate Carter vs. Killanova Culture: Royce Bishop and Trigger The OG : This was another high-energy encounter that was the stiffest of the night. Carter is stiff as they come and McCall is a young Montez Ford type. Together they absolutely killed it. Despite not being as flashy as The Rep, Killanova hung in there through sheer grit and smart tags. The power was absolutely on display for both teams and at one point, it felt like this could end in a draw due to how evenly matched these teams are. Ultimately, that’s exactly what happened as a double-pinball ended the encounter.

Tag Team Titles Match: The Ugly Ducklings Rob Killjoy and Lance Lude w/Coach Mikey vs. The Sea Stars: Ashley Vox Delmi Exo: Non-stop action from start to finish as both teams tried to end it early. The Stars fought hard and managed to escape the Duck Launcher and after a Code Breaker and a Senton, The Stars were crowned Tag Team Champions. After the match, Tasha Steelz and Christian Casanova made it clear they wanted a shot at the titles.

“The Gifted One” Yahya vs. MV Young: Young proved he was tougher and stronger than anyone else expected, kicking out of a Senton Bomb and a furry of offense on the outside from Yahya. The Gifted One end dup with the win after the Sky High variation.

Jordynne Grace vs. Battle Club Pro Franchise Champion Anthony Bowens: Another evenly-match encounter as neither Bowens or Grace could get an advantage. The crowd was heavily in favor of Grace, who nearly won with a Muscle Buster at one point, but Bowens was far from done. After he avoided a Top Rope Splash, Bowens got the win with the Torture Rack Flapjack.
