RAW Coverage: Picking Up Steam

For the first time in ages, RAW’s card was stacked. However, the matches, for the most part, lacked sizzle and Retribution continues to be teased far more than utilized. The end result was a better than usual show, but still an average one.

Matches:

RAW Tag Team Champions: The Street Profits: Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford vs. Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro: A smart tag from Dawkins, followed by a Frog Splash from the big man gave the RAW team the surprising win in a match a lot shorter than expected.

Cedric Alexander w/ The Hurt Business: MVP, United States Champion Bobby Lashley  and Shelton Benjamin vs. Ricochet w/Apollo Crews): Alexander picked up the win in a match that could have been far more special considering the competitors.

Raw Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Mickie James: Asuka won with the Asuka  Lock and after the match, Zelina Vega let Asuka know she wanted a shot at the RAW Women’s Title.

United States Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Erik: Lashley got the quick win with the Hurt Lock.

Steel Cage: Seth Rollins vs. Dominik Mysterio: Rollins beat Mysterio with The Stomp with an assist from Murphy, who Rollins destroyed after the bell.

Aleister Black vs. Kevin Owens: Thanks to the lights flickering, Owens won with a Stunner.

The Riot Squad: Liv Morgan and Ruby Riot vs. Natalya Neidhart and Lana: Riot won quickly and after the match, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax destroyed Lana, putting her through a table with a Samoan Drop.

Keith Lee vs. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre: Retribution got involved to throw this one out. After it was over, The Hurt Business and Retribution locked up, but couldn’t take them down. Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre ended up evening the odd though to end the show.
