AEW Dynamite Coverage: Omega vs. Fenix Set

The thought of Kenny Omega vs. Rey Fenix is amazing. That end of the episode made up for a few weak segments.

Matches:

Matt Hardy and Private Party: Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen vs. Hangman Adam Page, Alex Reynolds and Jon Silver: Lots of fun here as both teams were hungry and mixed in the offense. Kassidy and Quen hit Gin and Juice, but Hardy tagged himself in to score the win.

Angelico w/Jack Evans vs. Cody Rhodes w/Brandi Rhodes and Arn Anderson: This was a solid one that saw Cody win with The Cody Cutter. After the match, Team Taz were ramp side and were ready to beat on Cody, but Sting appeared with a bat to ward off the heels, with Darby Allin in the rafters.

Top Flight: Darius and Dante Martin, The Varsity Blondes: Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison and Best Friends: Chuck Taylor and Trent vs. The Inner Circle: Chris Jericho, MJF Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz and Sammy Guevara w/Wardlow: Hager hit the F-10 for the win, but MJF got the win.

SCU: Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels vs. The Acclaimed: Max Castor and Anthony Bowens: Castor and Bowens won with a Boombox shot to beat the former Champs.

Big Swole and NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb vs. AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions Diamante and Ivelisse: Swole got the Win with the CloverLeaf, but Nyla Rose and Vikki Guerrero beat on the victors before Red Velvet made the save.

No Disqualification World Title Eliminator Match: Joey Janela w/Sonny Kiss vs. Kenny Omega: Omega got the win, but after the match, Pac made sure Omega knew Rey Fenix was next in line.
