Honorable Mention: Primo and Epico: Their surprise attack on American Alpha was a strong message that will take care of business in the tag team division.
5: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable: Although they didn’t capture the Smackdown Tag Team titles, this team proved that they are championship material and more dominate than the Usos.
4: Sami Zayn: He’s ready to let the roster know that he’s no joke.
3: Randy Orton: The Viper continues to stay on top of his game and since he’s WWE World champion, he refuses to let Bray Wyatt get in his head.
2: Shinsuke Nakamura: His presence on the blue brand is well-deserved. However, the wait for his in-ring debut makes the WWE universe more eager to see him in action.
1: AJ Styles: It doesn’t matter which title opportunity is offered to him, the Phenomenal One will take it and fight until he wears gold once again to show everyone that he’s the top guy on Smackdown.
