‘Catch Me If You Can’ by Outasight: I-Tunes Free Single of the Week Review

Richard Andrew, otherwise known as “Outasight,” is not your typical city boy rapper from Yonkers, New York. Even though his music falls under the category of hip-hop, he happens to incorporate rock and soul as well. Might sound a bit strange, huh? He flawlessly makes the distinct genres connect in a way that expresses his own individuality.

Starting from 2007, Outasight instantly created four mixtapes within two years and recently polished off his EP, “Further,” in 2010.

Even though “Further” is just an EP, the song “Catch Me If You Can” is extremely concrete.

Andrew’s appealing style is solid, tight, and meaningful. Throughout the track, with ease, he switches on and off between rapping and singing. His voice makes the lyrics sound nonchalant, giving off a calm and soothing attitude.

Demonstrating a badass type of aura, the music that goes along with Outasight’s vocals match awfully well.

The guitar riffs and drumming might be simple, but they are suitable.

Not many songs contain horn sprays, but Andrew’s “Catch Me If You Can” does. They are able to give the tune an additional sense of energy and soul.

Outasight is working quickly and there doesn’t seem to be a wall that’s stopping him any time soon. Being signed with Warner Bros. Records under Asylum Records, his full length album shall be released sometime this year.

With great abilities and such a stage name, future listeners and fans should be aware that Richard Andrew is effortless out-a-sight.
