Where is This Kid?

As the road to finding Abel continues in this latest episode entitled “Caregiver,” there was limited action, and even more buildup.

This episode deals with several obstacles involving The Sons of Anarchy. One of which involves “The Mayans” who are another biker gang making their move into Charming with a heroin pipeline. The Sons, being limited on resources, cannot stop them. Gemma is now in a tough spot after her dad takes off, not to mention what she did with the caretaker in the basement.

Overall, this episode was extremely dull and slow. Although we see a familiar face from season one and more details on the hunt for Abel and his whereabouts, “Caregiver” did not have that spark to keep you excited.

We do however get to see a rare cameo which was the highlight of the episode involving the one and only Stephen King. King’s role was creepy to say the least, but it was also very comical.

The episodes climax was interesting as we discover Abel’s kidnapper in a shocking spot which gives the Sons of Anarchy a big clue on where Abel is. The season should take an interesting turn as time goes on, especially involving Gemma, who while still in hiding has no idea about what happened to her grandson.

It might not have been so bumpy this week, but as the ride continues to go in motion the action will soon pick up again. As for the Sons, they will be ready for whatever war comes their way, even if they have to leave Charming to fight for what they are looking for.

Look out Belfast, the Sons are coming to town.

I grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, the same neighborhood many of the best mafia films of our day were based on, idolizing guys like Robert Deniro, Martin Scorsese and Al Pacino. I'm also a big sports fan and follow the New York Yankees immensely.
