One More Week

Here we go again. It’s another week, which means more cattiness, drama and an intervention to let bygones be bygones. But nothing is truly over for any of these boys.

This episode starts off with Derek, Ryan and TJ examining the main event of last week’s show.

Derek and TJ seem to have sided with Austin and put all of the blame on Reichan and Rodiney. With the group’s trip to Maine coming up, it looks like they do not want Rodiney to be in attendance.

Now that Reichan’s role on Broadway is over, he is now attempting to produce a single that, once again, brings awareness to the military’s “Don’t Ask and Don’t Tell” policy. It is a potentially successful song, but Reichan cannot sing his way out of a big brown bag.

Austin and Ryan meet up to also discuss the big fight that occurred last week. Ryan apologized to Austin for being so quick to take Reichan and Rodiney’s side after the fight. Rodiney’s reaction to Austin may have been uncalled for, but when you are pushed up against a wall, eventually, you have to fight back. Anyone could see that Austin’s words to Rodiney were adding insult to injury. Soon after the fight, a few of the boys came together to persuade Rodiney to let go of his anger towards Austin and go to Maine with them. It took some convincing but Rodiney went with them in the end.

Mike had his first gallery opening as a solo artist of his most recent works that also ran the theme of photos that were inspired by Tom of Finland. Over the course of four decades, Tom of Finland has produced some 3,500 illustrations, mostly featuring men with exaggerated primary and secondary sex traits, such as, heavily muscled torsos, limbs, buttocks, and large penises. The artwork of Tom of Finland is homo-exotic and, still to this day, signifies the ideal form of masculinity. These photos also featured Mike, himself, in the over the top images.

It seems that every good thing must come to an end. Next week is this season’s finale. It’s the one episode that guarantees all of the loose ends will be resolved. All of the backstabbing, the lies and the secrets that were below the ocean’s waves will soon the peak of the iceberg.
