More to Morrison than Glee

You may know him as the Spanish teacher who supervises glee-club on the hit show Glee, but there is more to Mathew Morrison than you think. His work in musicals and on Broadway has given him the ability to emote a great deal in a song. This leads us to his latest musical endeavor “Summer Rain.” Co-written by Morrison, it’s a happy tune with a laid back vibe that will have you smiling long after you’ve heard it.

Some may believe that this shouldn’t be his first single from the album, however, what better way to show the possible versatility of a musical artist than a pop-song? Why can’t an artist produce a track that makes the listener feel good all over? Besides with lyrics like “Your eyes are beggin’ me to touch you there/Could be a thousand people watchin’ but we don’t care” how could you not want to hear more? Sometimes suggestive words to a peppy beat works, and in this case can whet the listener’s appetite for the other tracks.

So if you can’t get enough of Glee’s Mathew Morrison, then you’ll love his new single “Summer Rain.” It hints at the possibilities of songs that will showcase the many facets of his voice.
