A-List NY Coverage: Picking up the Pace

What a show this week. This is a game changer. Friendships are dissolving and new ones are forming right in front of America.

Since the last episode, Derek has disconnected all contact with Austin. When you disregard your friend’s feelings, it is not a surprise to be on the outs with that person. Derek, in order to replace Austin, has offered olive branches and apologizes to Nyasha and Rodiney.

Austin has exhausted all of the possible venues to get back into Derek’s life, to no avail. Austin is in denial and still thinks that he and Derek will patch things up. Don’t hold your breath.

Reichen and TJ have made it to Hawaii for the Paradise Festival, a new event for gay couples and singles. A newly single Reichen is too needy for companionship. It’s evident that he is not a man who can handle being single for long periods of time.

Now that Derek is no longer employed, he is trying to get his new business off of the ground. His business includes a product is called Tan-Sexual (TNSXL), a portable skin tanning spray. In order to promote his new product, Derek has decided to perform in a Burlesque show in front of the gang and possible consumers.

On the flip side of the coin, Rodiney is widening his pool for potential mates by embracing his bisexuality and he already has a young lady in mind named Lisa. It may not go anywhere. It is off-putting when people talk about sexual encounters on the first date.

After everything is almost to an end, Derek still manages to find time to tell Austin, face to face, that their friendship is over. Austin maybe a very lonely man this summer because everyone is siding with team Derek.

Through this all, it’s fair to say the drama is finally heating up again.
