It looks like Lerix, after his latest EP, “Audio Arcade,” has decided to reach for stardom faster than expected, with the release of another single, “Another Round,” from his newest project, “Dinner with Jack Donaghy.” It is once again, a great expression of Lerix’s style of music and his never-ending drive to hold on to his sense of culture and history.
True to his original vision, the telling of stories in a non-derogatory way, he has successfully created a party song that is artfully written, mentally catchy and memorable. According to the song, everyone has their indulgences, but only the honest ones embrace their extravagant pastimes. For most people, it could be something like sports or reality television, for others it’s drinking. Lerix is no different. He, too eventually says see you later to his inhibitions and good evening to a night out on the town with a variety of beverages and beautiful women.
There is not really a sense of responsible drinking habits in this song, but it could be implied to treat yourself in a responsible manner without placing yourself or others in danger. As the song goes on, the sense of happiness and being unruly comes over the listener. It is a club song, without a doubt, so someone should get Lerix another round and some cab fare for his ride home.
