Megaforce Records recording artists Bobaflex’s new album Hell In My Heart has hit the airwaves. The band is currently on tour throughout the rest of 2011 in support of the effort.
From Point Pleasant West Virginia, Bobaflex was formed in 1998 by brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy. The brothers are no strangers to the press, having ancestral ties to the most infamous family feud in American history, between the Hatfields and the McCoys which almost caused a war between the states of West Virginia and Kentucky in the 1880s. The band’s name was inspired by the bounty hunter Boba Fett from Star Wars.
The first single from Hell in my Heart “Bury Me With My Guns” is already getting huge reaction at radio. Vocalist/ guitarist Martin McCoy sums up the bands feelings to date ” We’ve been through a war just trying to play our music. We put it all into this record and its the most real and best sounding to date. We’re at the top of our game live, and with this new record I’m confident nothing can stop this band.”
The band signed to Megaforce Records earlier this year. Megaforce was founded in 1982 and has released albums from Metallica, The Black Crowes, Anthrax, Danzig, etc. “We are very excited and honored to be on a label that so many of our influences have been released on†states Martin McCoy. “We’re ready for the world to hear Hell In My Heart!
