New ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Cast Revealed

On ABC Monday night during Bachelor Pad, the 13th season cast of Dancing with the Stars was slowly revealed. Many gossip sites have speculated for months about potential cast members, and most of their guesses were correct.

The most widely-spread guesses were David Arquette (Courtney Cox’s ex-husband and Scream 3 star), Rob Kardashian (Keeping up with the Kardashians), Chaz Bono (formerly Chastity Bono, son of Sonny and Cher) and Elisabetta Canalis (George Clooney’s most recent ex-girlfriend), all of whom will be contestants.

“I love to dance and I love to entertain, and there’s no place better to do that than this show,” Arquette said.

Many of the “stars” (some definitely more than others—a very loose term) took to Twitter to announce how happy they are to be on the show.

“I can finally confirm…I’m on Dancing With The Stars this season!!! Already having so much fun,” Laguna Beach and The Hills star Kristen Cavallari posted.

“Thx everyone 4 your support,” wrote US soccer player Hope Solo. “I’m excited for this challenge but most importantly to try and raise awareness 4 women’s soccer.”

“Hey @ryanseacrest watch me on #DWTS !!!!” posted former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy stylist Carson Kressley.

Some surprises include HLN host Nancy Grace, Los Angeles Lakers Forward Ron Artest and J. R. Martinez, an Army vet and All My Children cast member.
