Bravo, Logo. Another juicy episode of “A-List New York” hit the air waves this week. This one starts out pretty flat but, as the hour goes on, the drama cruise ship picks up speed. When it comes to this season, you can’t afford to miss an episode.
Austin doesn’t know if he’s physically ready to pose for Playgirl. Derek and a few others in the group don’t think he should entertain the thought of accepting this offer. Who cares if people want Austin to do the shoot or not, he is his own man and he will, most likely, do it anyway.
The drama continues as Ryan and Nyasha make an attempt at a friendship. Of course the other night at the club comes up into their conversation. It was no surprise to Ryan that Nyasha refused to accept Austin’s lame attempt at an apology. Nyasha wasn’t having it and neither is Reichen.
Speaking of Reichen, he wants to bury to hatchet and put his love triangle with Austin and Rodiney to rest. He also, sort of, makes another pass at Austin. That was awkward, but not as awkward as Ryan and TJ’s relationship is now.
Back in Ryan’s salon, Ryan and TJ are still on the outs. It looks like the two can’t maintain a boss/employee relationship and be friends at the same time. In order to salvage their friendship, Ryan fires TJ. It is never a good thing when friends fire friends. That does not scream friendly behavior.
Reichen then tells Derek that Rodiney is contemplating filing a restraining order against Austin. Rodiney calls a meeting to let the others in on his plans. The conversation quickly boils down from legal repercussions for Austin’s violence to Austin’s actions while intoxicated. Personal protection is often number one on several people’s lists and Rodiney is about a year late on that restraining order idea.
After Austin reamed Reichen over the phone about the world seeing his manhood, he learns later on that Playgirl does want him to pose full on naked. It would have been easier for him to do this in the past because he was single and now the guy is married. This is going to get really complicated really fast when his husband has his say in this.
Austin talks to Jake about his Playgirl “interview.” Jake doesn’t take the news about the interview/test shoot well.
With all of this drama, this show continues to get better every week.
