Review Exclusive: Interview with BobaFlex’s Shaun McCoy

Review Fix chats with singer and guitarist Shaun McCoy from BobaFlex, who discusses their new album, “Hell in my Heart,” as well his influences, what it’s like to be in a band with family and what the future holds for the group.

With a unique sound, particularly due to the fact that McCoy and his brother Marty are both the groups lead singers and guitarists, BobaFlex is an interesting band worth checking out. That fact that they cover Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sounds of Silence” on the new album proves their as diverse and well-read as they are original as well.
