Prosevere will be on tour this Spring in their hometown of Tennessee

Prosevere, a softer-metal group based out of Memphis, TN, is planning on going on tour this spring. They will be performing in and around their hometown, continuously promoting the album they released a year ago, Burn the City. The group has been out promoting this album since it’s release in March 2011, but new tour dates will begin this March and go through May, starting and ending in Tennessee.

The band and their single off of Burn the City, “The New Number 2,” are great. On a simple level, their vocalists Eric and Gary have fantastic voices, and the instrumentals are great as well. The single has a catchy melody, to say the least, but really pulls you in with lines such as “I know your every move / I know what you think / you’ve got a lot to learn.” Any listener can relate to the song because it’s specific enough to tell a story yet vague enough to customize to personal situations, and this isn’t the only song of theirs that does so.

Keep an eye (or ear) out for any news of new albums or tour dates in New York. They’ve performed in NYC before, and hopefully enjoyed it enough to return for another appearance.
