Bobbi Kristina Quits Tyler Perry Sitcom

Bobbi Kristina Brown has reportedly walked away from her first big major acting role on Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse.

Whitney Houston’s daughter obtained the gig from Perry, a family friend, just two months after her mother’s death, but sources told RadarOnline she wasn’t emotionally ready to work.

Having walked away from the set last week, she left Perry and his staff scrambling for rewrites to explain her character’s sudden absence. While Bobbi Kirstina only filmed a few episodes, the sitcom’s second season is scheduled to air in July.

She is, however, continuing to participate in Lifetime’s upcoming reality series about the Houston family which some say is less stressful on her since it includes other family members.

“Bobbi Kristina had a private breakdown and barely anyone saw it,” a source revealed to the site. “She was crying and said she needed a minute, she needed a break to get herself together. But then she decided she couldn’t handle doing the show right now. She’s still mourning her mom.”

After leaving she later had a private conversation with Perry, who is concerned about her.

“He understands. He’s upset and worried about her,” the source said. “But now he’s had to do a lot of restructuring work on the show.”
