Hell’s Kitchen Coverage: Bikinis and Jet Skis

It’s a sea of black jackets of both new and old chefs in an all new episode of Hell’s Kitchen.

The chefs were extremely happy to be in the top six. They were even happier when they each got new special edition Bob Kramer knives. Robyn and Dana were both happy and dancing with each other for the first time in a long while, which is nice to see.

The party had to stop and the chefs had to get serious the next day. Meeting them were Chef Ludo Lefebvre from Ludobites, Chef Quinn Hatfield from Hatfield’s and three domes. Under the domes were each chef’s signature dish and the chefs had to identify what was in each the first two dishes. This was the setup for one of Hell’s Kitchen’s most feared challenges: taste it, now make it.

The chefs were split into three teams: Clemenza and Dana, Justin and Barbie and Christina and Robyn. All three teams guessed the protein was veal and the puree was white bean. On the other hand, lemenza and Dana thought the veal was wrapped with prosciutto, the puree seasoning with horseradish and the sauce was madiera while the other two teams thought Serrano ham, smoked bacon and port. Clemenza and Dana were right with everything except the puree and won it.

Clemenza and Dana spent the day on Silverwood Lake to jet ski. Poor Clemenza was going all over the place and even lost his hat in the process. At least he got to see Dana in a bikini which he seemed to enjoy very much.

The other chefs on the other hand had to clean the dining room with James. That meant dusting, scrubbing the steps and ironing all the linens. Justin, with his smart mouth, said, “is my mother here?” James’s comeback was “oh my god, Justin is going to learn how to iron!” He got caught cleaning the fish tank instead of ironing.

At dinner service Ramsey had a big surprise for the chefs. They would be going up against another team. That team was former Hell’s Kitchen runner-ups Russell, Jay, Kevin, Paola, Bonnie and Virginia. This dinner service had two things to prove: These former chefs were good enough to win Hell’s Kitchen and these current chefs are good enough to win this year. How did that go?

In the Red Kitchen (Runner-Ups) not very much happened. Jay put way too much pepper on a bass and Russell called Paola sweetheart which Paola told him nicely not to.

The Blue Kitchen (Current Chefs) did much worse. Robyn did not put enough salad dressing on a Caesar salad and Clemenza started a spaghetti that was not ordered by anyone. That was due to Robyn cooking spaghetti and giving it to Clemenza to sauce which made Ramsey give Robyn a good tongue lashing.

On the entrees Barbie and Dana were giving out two completely different times. Ramsey told her “ask for help!” Her admitting to the camera that she does not trust Clemenza or Robyn was one of the reasons for the bad service and Ramsey telling her to come in the back for a brief talking to.

Sure enough, the Runner-Ups won and the chefs had to choose two chefs for elimination. They nominated Robyn and Clemenza because of another scallop mishap. Robyn was eliminated.

After everything that happened in this episode, it looked like it was high time for Robyn to leave. Dana needs to leave too because she makes mistakes. Clemenza is just sinking. There are good odds that Barbie is going to win this year. It might even come down to her and Christina. That would make a good finale.
