September cannot come fast enough—but while waiting for the premiere, the Once Upon a Time crew has been doing a great job at keeping us updated and excited.
As usual, stop now if you don’t want to know (but we know you do):
First up, it was announced that actor Colin O’Donoghue is joining the cast as Captain Hook, who was featured in a teaser trailerannouncing his arrival in Storybrooke. Hook will make his first appearance in the season’s fourth episode, according to TV Line. O’Donoghue previously guest-starred on The Tudors, playing Duke Philip of Bavaria.
If that’s not enough, TV Guide Magazine columnist William Keck also posted a photo on Twitter from the set on Saturday of the Charming family reunion. When Emma broke the curse last season, all the characters remembered their lives in the fairy tale world—and that means Snow White and Prince Charming now know that Emma is their daughter. This may be one of the most anticipated moments yet—but how will Emma react?
Finally, Entertainment Weekly reports that Michael Raymond-James is also joining the cast, though there is no word on which character he will play. While he has been in shows likeTerriers and True Blood, his OUaT persona could be anyone, from Henry’s father to an adult Baelfire, a.k.a. Rumpelstiltskin’s son—or hey, maybe both of them…
Of course, we’ll have to wait until September 30 on ABC to find out the answers to all our questions.
