WWE RAW Power Rankings: The Man in Pink

It was another wacky week of Monday Night RAW that continued to fuel the angle between John Cena and CM Punk. However there were several other superstars that had big weeks as well. Although the three-hour show hasn’t reaped its benefits just yet, if the superstars below get more time to shine, who knows what could happen.

5: Damien Sandow: An enjoyable promo and a good match with Zack Ryder this week. Both of these guys have so much potential, but Sandow can be something special. Between the mic work, Regal-Cutter-type finisher and cartwheels, what more can you ask for?

4: Kane and Daniel Bryan: The WWE is desperately trying to revitalize the tag team division and these guys had a fantastic match with Kofi Kingston and R-Truth on Monday. With successful singles careers and amazing work ethics, both of these guys can save the WWE tag team division. It’s just a matter of working in other quality teams that they can feud with.

3: Alberto Del Rio: Say what you want about his gimmick, but this guy had a great match on RAW with CM Punk, Sheamus and John Cena. He belongs in the ring with the company’s brightest stars, he just needs to find a gimmick- it’s clear the Mexican aristocrat, albeit snarky and fun at times, it’s as over as the WWE needs it to be.

2: Sheamus: The angle with him and Alberto Del Rio is a blast to watch in the ring. “The Great White” continues to get better on the mic every week as well. Plenty of fans are still sick of him, but it’s hard to fight the fact that he ‘s one of the brightest young stars in the company.

1: John Cena: His pinfall victory over CM Punk continues the best rivalry in sports entertainment today. His in-ring routine is predictable and the PG-13 setting hurts his promo work, but he’s still one of the best in the world at what he does. Plain and simple- he needs to be involved in angles with stars the likes of Punk and The Rock. That’s when you see him at his best. This angle has to continue.
