WWE Power Rankings: Refs, Divas and Feeding Time

With a reshuffled main event for Survivor Series, the WWE has listened to their harshest critics. They know the creative state of the company needs some lemon in their collective seltzer. It feels all for naught at this point though. Sadly, the result of all of the match changing was a SS tag team match that makes little sense creatively.

Regardless, there were a few bright spots.

5: Kaitlyn: Yeah, her match, a tag encounter with Layla vs. Eve Torrez and Aksana, was terrible, but she did pin the Divas Champion. The best thing in the division right now, even as green as Kaitlyn is, needs a decent push. And some new ring music.

4: Brad Maddox: The disgruntled referee has earned himself a match with Ryback next week after his actions at Hell in a Cell. It was easily one of the most interesting moments on this week’s show. A talented in-ring performer under the guise of Beef Wellington (not the ass puncher) in OVW and his current name in FCW, he’ll get his chance soon enough.

3: Cody Rhodes: Even though he got some assistance from Damien Sandow, Rhodes earned a win over former World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. That doesn’t happen every week.

2: Big Show: His chat at the booth with Jim Ross and Michael Cole was classic. Since he beat Sheamus for the World title, Show has some renewed vigor. It’s good to have the giant back. With a boring World title picture, Show definitely makes things a little more interesting.

1: Ryback: Fans in England love him just as much as fans in the United States. He continues to be allowed to destroy everything in his path including Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. He may have to be taken serious soon.
