HYPNOTIC RELEASES TRANCEOLOGY 2, A 2-CD SET FROM GERMANY’S TALLA 2XLC

Hypnotic Records (a division of Cleopatra Records) dropped TRANCEOLOGY 2, a 2-CD collection of club tracks from Germany’s premier DJ, Talla 2XLC. In this second volume, he includes collaborations with some of the world’s top producers and DJs.
TRANCEOLOGY 2 includes two hours of unreleased versions and rare mixes of Talla’s greatest hits. “No Inbetween,” a track often used by world-class DJs Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren and Ferry Corsten gets two new treatments here by John O’Callaghan (No. 55 of DJ Mag Top 100). Frequent collaborator Sean Tyas is featured on “Heart to Heart” and “Giving Up, Giving In.” Chart topper Martin Roth contributes his mix of Talla’s popular “Carry Me.” and Dutch superstar Jorn van Deynhoven remixes “Terra Australis.”

As one of the first artists to describe his work as “Trance,” Talla 2XLC is considered an EDM icon. He began as a DJ in the 80s, opened the world’s first super-club in Frankfurt in 1984, and has run several record labels, launching other innovative artists in the genre. He hosts several radio shows and podcasts. In addition to recording and producing, Talla continues to perform all over the world and at major music festivals. In December, he has a series of shows throughout Germany and in 2013 he will be touring in Asia, Ukraine and the U.S. for a Tranceology tour.
