HURTS ANNOUNCE UK AND EUROPEAN 2013 TOUR

Following the announcement of February London and Berlin shows, which are both now sold out, Hurts have announced a 12-date UK and European headline tour in March and April 2013.

The tour will commence on 14th March at Cologne Essigfabrik with a final date at Glasgow Garage on 2nd April.

Hurts two sold out February shows will take place on Thursday 7th February at London’s Heaven and on Saturday 9th February at Postbahnhof in Berlin. The London show will be the band’s first UK show since they headlined Brixton Academy on 4th November 2011.

Hurts – Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson – are currently in the studio finishing their second album, which will be the follow-up to their 2010 debut ‘Happiness’, which will be released in Spring 2013.

‘Happiness’ entered the UK album charts at #4 with over 25,000 sales making Hurts the fastest selling new band of 2010 in the UK. They have now reached over 2,000,000 sales worldwide earning 14 top 10 iTunes positions including #1s in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg.

‘Happiness’ was officially certified Gold in the UK and Austria, and 2 x Platinum in Germany and Finland, and Platinum in Poland, Switzerland, and Russia, with the band selling over 250,000 tickets on tour.
