Five WWE Stars Who Deserved to Be on the Wrestlemania Card

With Wrestlemania 29 over and done with, Review Fix shares their thoughts on who deserved to be on the monster-sized card.

5: Sin Cara: The guy is an amazing athlete and the little kids love him. Although he hasn’t cut a promo in the company, he lets his in-ring work do the talking. Even if it were a match with Rey Mysterio against The Prime Time Players for a #1 contender shot for the Tag Team titles, Cara and what he brings to the ring would have worked wonderfully at Wrestlemania.

4: Kaitlyn: Just like the Tag Team Division and every other title that isn’t the World or WWE belts, the Divas division is a mess. Kaitlyn may be green, but the fans respect her. She deserved a moment at Wrestlemania, even if it was a five-minute match.

3: The Prime Time Players Darren Young and Titus O’Neill: The company’s Tag Team division is weak and even when an entertaining team like PTP comes along, creative manages to mess it all up. Between O’Neill’s games of “dress up” and Young’s job out to John Cena last month, the team has lost a plethora of momentum. There’s no reason why they can’t be in the Tag Team title picture.

2: Wade Barrett: Sure, he’s got as much charisma as a bag of rocks, but the guy is the Intercontinental Champion. Since Wrestlemania began, the IC title has always been featured high on the card. Guess this means the WWE cares more about making sure they get their buy rate with established stars like The Rock and Cena than developing new ones. Sorry WWE, the pre-game show simply doesn’t cut it.

1: Antonio Cesaro: The United States Champion is money, but the WWE continually gives him away for free. There’s no one this guy can fight? No one he can get in an angle with? What a shame. Easily one of the most technically proficient stars on the roster, he’s being treated like a red-headed superstar, cough, Heath Slater, cough, cough.
