WWE RAW Power Rankings: You’re Fired

This week’s RAW provided excellent drama and great in-ring work- at the perfect time, just six days before Money in the Bank. Between the “arrival” of the Wyatt Family, the Vikki Guerrero situation and a wonderful Daniel Bryan/Sheamus opening match and a solid main event between CM Punk and Randy Orton, RAW got it done this week.

Check out our weekly Power Rankings to see goes into Money in the Bank with the most momentum.

5: Vikki Guerrero: You have to love to see her squirm and boy did she this week. A classic female heel- perhaps one of the best the company has ever had, Guerrero’s “firing” made for some good television. Don’t let her dismissal fool you. Guerrero will play a role in the show in the near future. Simply put, her antics this week were enjoyable and helped spice up the show. Add in the drama of the McMahon and Triple H meeting and it’s easy to see this angle, albeit slow at first, was more entertaining than it should have been.

4: Daniel Bryan: Even in the opening match, Bryan proves he’s one of a kind. Consistently bringing the best out of his opponents, Bryan made Sheamus look like much more than the former World Champion he is. With a bevy of speed, explosive power, a variety of maneuvers and unbridled enthusiasm, Bryan is one of the best performers of the modern era. Like Bret Hart and Dynamite Kid before him, Bryan proves every week that the size of dog in the fight is nothing compared to the size of fight in the dog.

3: Dolph Ziggler: The guy doesn’t even have to wrestle for the crowd to go bonkers. Most likely still recovering from injuries, Ziggler has been used teasingly over the last month or so, which makes his upcoming match with Alberto Del Rio for the World title highly anticipated. This will be a great match at Money in the Bank.

2: Mark Henry: He’s in a league of his own in terms of promo lately. Some of Henry’s best work on the microphone took place this week when he told John Cena that the WWE title would validate his WWE career and wasn’t scared to sell out “his momma” to do it. A wrecking machine who finally has the playground to run around in, Henry made a big time statement this week.

1: The Wyatt Family: The vignettes were awesome. Well-planned and charismatic, the group made a big time impression on the WWE Universe. “Husky Harris” chants aside, The Wyatt Family’s first RAW appearance was a successful one.
