WWE RAW Power Rankings: Satisfaction in the Struggle

The last RAW before Night of Champions certainly delivered, thanks to plenty of storyline development and a stacked card.

Check out our Weekly RAW Power Rankings to see what superstars will be worth watching at this weekend’s pay-per-view.

5: Kofi Kingston: Sure, he got beat up a bit by Curtis Axel this week on RAW and is more a plot device than a real player in any particular storyline, but he’s got two wins in two weeks on the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. That’s got to count for something, right? After Night of Champions, expect Kingston to get back in the IC Title picture. One of the company’s best workers and a true fan favorite, Kingston belongs in the upper part of the card.

4: Bray Wyatt and The Buzzards: The Sister Abigail is one of the coolest moves in the company and Wyatt and his duo of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are massive, intriguing and flat out creepy. Wyatt’s win over former World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler this week on RAW was a huge step in the right direction for his character. Could United States or Intercontinental gold be on the horizon for him?

3: CM Punk: The look on Punk’s face on RAW when he ran to the ring with a kendo stick was priceless. Paul Heyman’s antics before that weren’t too bad either. The handicap match between Heyman, Curtis Axel and Punk is going to be hilarious. And once that’s over who knows what’s next for Punk. Could a return to the WWE title picture be in the cards?

2: Randy Orton: Every week, Orton becomes a better heel in the ring and thanks to help from Triple H on the microphone, the company faction is an evil entity worth every ounce of your uttermost hatred. Orton hasn’t had this much momentum in a very long time.

1: Daniel Bryan: “There is satisfaction in the struggle.” Bryan’s road to Night of Champions has been nothing short of painful emotionally and physically. But regardless, like a cockroach, he can’t be put down. With an undying loyalty to fans and a Mikey Whipwreck ability to take punishment and work, Bryan is without a doubt the most entertaining performer on RAW this week.
