AUDIO: The Walking Dead Episode Commentary: Live Bait

The anticipation for “Live Bait” definitely lived up to the hype. Fans of “The Walking Dead” were curious regarding the whereabouts of The Governor, and in this episode they get to see it. Throughout most of this episode we see The Governor as a broken man. He is clearly in bad shape. He torches Woodbury and hits the road for many months. When we see him again he resembles Snake Pliskin. He has long hair, a beard, and of course the eyepatch. The Governor also resembles Walter White in his final days of “Breaking Bad.” They have similarities because when they both changed their name. The Governor referred to himself as Brian to the family he stays with for the many months he was in hiatus.

Overall, we got to see a side of The Governor that questions if he has turned over a new leaf, or can he lose it again and turn into the monster we knew last season.

At the site, I'm a music, television and graphic novel kind of guy and that's what I'll be writing for the most part. Expect some book and music reviews as well though [insert demon horns here]. I grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, the same neighborhood many of the best mafia films of our day were based on, idolizing guys like Robert Deniro, Martin Scorsese and Al Pacino. I'm also a big sports fan and follow the New York Yankees immensely.
