WWE RAW Power Rankings: Superman is Back

The fallout from Hell in a Cell was certainly entertaining. With new feuds beginning and old ones heating up, the WWE bounced back wonderfully after a string of poor episodes of RAW.

Check out our weekly RAW Power Rankings to see who helped play the biggest roles in one of the best RAWs in months.

Honorable Mention: Damien Sandow: While he’s not in CM Punk’s league, Sandow can easily get over as a heel that despises John Cena. Their match this week on RAW was easily one of the top five matches on the show this year. His promo before the match was witty and got where it needed to quickly. Simply put, Sandow to a top-tier talent that deserves to be in the mix for the World Title. For him to go back to mid-card feuds after this is just a waste of his time.

5: The Wyatt Family: The trio took out CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in one night. It looks like after months of feeding on mid-carders, the Family has finally begun to feast on the WWE’s elite.

4: CM Punk: He says what he means and means what he says. His win over Ryback ends one chapter in his career, while his new battle with The Wyatt Family starts a brand new one. With Daniel Bryan a victim of the trio, can the two former WWE Champions team up and take them down?

3: Randy Orton: “The Viper” is the face of the company and in spite of not having a real angle currently, figures to be a huge part of the company’s creative plans moving forward. If The Big Show gets a clean path at Orton, things can get interesting.

2: Daniel Bryan: The look on his face during his segment with Shawn Michaels was a lesson in psychology. Bryan is due a WWE title shot again, for the simple fact that no one else has the type of in-ring chemistry with Orton that Bryan does. For the time being though, wouldn’t it be awesome to see Bryan take on Michaels? When Bryan looked in the Yes Lock on RAW,the fans went nuts and for good reason. Even if Michaels is out of shape, these two could have a wonderful match. Talk about a Wrestlemania moment. For the time being however, it appears Bryan will have his hands full with The Wyatt Family.

1: John Cena: Say what you want, but RAW is a better show when Cena is on it. If you needed any proof of that Working with “one-arm,” Cena had one of his best matches on RAW in months. His promo to start the show added a much-needed legitimacy and passion to the World Title, one that wasn’t there during Alberto Del Rio’s title reign.
