Your “Disney Infinity†toy box just got a little more destructive.
“Wreck it Ralph†is here and damn, does he like to break stuff. From typical on-screen baddies to environments, Ralph can break it all. Armed with a mad dash attack and eight-bit cherry bomb, Ralph is a blast to play with. His toy box mission, a side-scrolling adventure of sorts, is also enjoyable, in spite of the fact that the game’s lagging control and camera issues limit the fun.
The Good:
Ralph is Mega Strong: His ground and pound attack is cool and can take out the baddies in the toy box rather easily. He’s a lot of fun when there are multiple enemies on the screen. The same thing goes when you have a bunch of boxes or destructible items in your way. Simply put, Ralph is fun to play with.
The Bad:
Character is Difficult to Control at Times: The control in “Disney Infinity†has been griped about since day one and Ralph’s attack and the flimsy camera still have their problems. While it won’t bother kids that much, more seasoned gamers will find the camera and control issues irritating.
Final Thoughts:
The side-scrolling adventure’s control issues aside, Ralph is a fun addition to your horde of “Disney Infinity†figure collection. Simply put, he’s strong and ready to break stuff. If you have a kid (or someone older) that enjoyed the film, they’ll be right at home with him in “Disney Infinity.†Nice touches like the eight-bit effects for Ralph’s Cherry Bomb attack and the voice work go a long way as well, making Ralph one of the cooler toy box releases to date.
