WWE RAW Power Rankings: Tag Team Crazy

Although there were more tag-team matches than engaging storylines, there was just enough drama this week on RAW to keep the show enjoyable.

Check out our weekly WWE RAW Power Rankings to see who started the road to Royal Rumble on the right foot.

Honorable Mention: Big Show and Rey Mysterio: They may not be a conventional tag team, but they convincingly beat the WWE Tag Team Champions this week on RAW. Could a title run be in the cards for the team? With their legendary status intact, but little in terms of heat or angles, this could be the best move for both of these veteran stars.

5: The Wyatt Family: Another great promo from Bray Wyatt continues the speculation that Daniel Bryan’s presence in The Family is a welcomed one. This is still interesting and needs to be cultivated further.

4: CM Punk: The thought of a Punk/Shawn Michaels match is too good a thought to pass up on. After dispatching The Shield at TLC, Punk needs a big singles match like this. Otherwise, he’s going to fall into the “talented, but there’s nothing we can do for him right now,” category. That would be a shame.

3: John Cena: The guy didn’t need to wrestle this week to make the list. Using his ability on the microphone and his audacity to get Daniel Bryan a title shot, Cena continues to matter.

2: Daniel Bryan: Sad, but true, this match may prove that Bryan is such a better chaser than Champion. Watching him fight Orton, with his heart on his sleeve, will always be better than seeing him on top of the world as champion. This will never change the fact that he’s still the best worker in the company and will always be, while he’s in the company, the guy you want to be in the ring with if you want to get noticed.

1: Randy Orton: Say what you want about “The Viper,” but he is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. While he’s not as over as Daniel Bryan and John Cena, the fact that fans want to see him get his ass kicked will only serve him well during the course of his reign.
