Justified Episode Commentary: “The Kids Aren’t Alright”

The second episode of the fifth season of “Justified” doesn’t bring that cowboy, rough and tumble action you are used to seeing. Instead you get plenty of laughs, a look at some familiar faces and even the new ones in Harlan County. “The Kids Aren’t Alright” presents a bit of levity for a drama that is known for its high octane punches it throws at you, especially from its main characters, Raylan and Boyd.

So far this season is off to a good start, with several gritty plot lines that could make this season be one of the best.

At the site, I'm a music, television and graphic novel kind of guy and that's what I'll be writing for the most part. Expect some book and music reviews as well though [insert demon horns here]. I grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, the same neighborhood many of the best mafia films of our day were based on, idolizing guys like Robert Deniro, Martin Scorsese and Al Pacino. I'm also a big sports fan and follow the New York Yankees immensely.
