TNA Impact Wrestling Coverage: Poor Dixie

It seems like Dixie has a problem controlling the inmates.

While it was a tad on the melodramatic side, the funny part was this was one of the better episodes in quite some time. Three good matches and continued storyline development made for a show that was at least moving in a noticeable direction.

Where Impact hurt itself was a lack of title matches and the type of storyline that captivated. While Brooke leaving Bully Ray and Joseph Park continuing his search for his inner monster are somewhat interesting, they don’t “wow” the crowd.

A company full of mid-carders, TNA needs to find attention-stealing superstars- and fast.

Matches:

James Storm vs. Gunner for World Title Shot: This match ended in a no DQ after a few minutes of back and forth action. This feud is just beginning.

Monster’s Ball: Joseph Park w/Eric Young vs. Christopher Daniels and Frank Kazarian: Bad Influence toyed with both Young and Park for a very long time. But again, after he was “pissed off,” Park ended the match with the Shock Treatment and the Blackhole Slam.

OBB vs. Lei’D Tapa w/Knockouts Champion Gail Kim: ODB was in control f, but interference from Kim led to a Tapa TKO and win.

Sting and Jeff Hardy vs. TNA Tag Team Champions Jessie Godderz and Robbie E, Rockstar Spud and Ethan Carter III w/Zema Ion: This was easily the best match of the night and one that saw all six competitors go through a ton of offense. Once Sting hit the ring, he cleared house but forgot ECIII was the legal man. A rollup later and Carter had a victory over the legend.
