Carl is a brat, Rick is half dead, Michonne is dreaming- as a result you get a dud premiere episode that leaves you with the same old plot lines. In the aftermath of the battle that occurred at the prison, the group is divided. Rick and Carl are on their own and find a home to occupy for the time being. Michonne is on her own journey as an interesting back story is revealed regarding her in a dream sequence.
Overall “After” is a slow moving premiere that does not leave as excited as previous episodes. Hopefully business will pick up and the remainder of the season will finish strong.
