WWE RAW Power Rankings: A New Movement?

No Daniel Bryan on the card hurt the WWE’s trademark show this week, but with the drama between Evolution and The Shield continuing to build, there was at least some fun to be had.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who stepped up to fill the card in Daniel Bryan’s absence.

Honorable Mention: John Cena: His win with the Usos this week over The Wyatt Family does little for either, but it does give Cena the momentum he needs in a never-ending battle with The Wyatt Family. Fighting perhaps his most unique challenger yet, Cena has yet to put Wyatt in his place and move on.

5: Paige: The surprise win over Fox proves that the youngster can sell. At the same time, it’s the second or third time she’s been unable to execute the Paige Turner in a smooth enough way to make it look like a devastating finisher. At this point, it may serve itself better as a setup to the Scorpion Crosslock. At the same time, Paige’s small stature limits who she can perform that submission on. At any rate, the WWE Universe loves her and at this low point in Divas competition, she is perhaps the only light.

4: Daniel Bryan: Neck surgery for Bryan ironically came at a wonderful time. This current angle with Kane did little for Bryan. He’s beaten the “Big Red Machine” before, but with a lack of competition, WWE Creative had nothing solid to book Bryan in. It’s sad really that a guy this over has to continue to talk about his win at Wrestlemania. What Bryan should be doing is talking about the future. Even if the surgery is a minimally invasive one that it has been reported to be however, no one knows what situation Bryan will be put in when he comes back.

3: Sheamus: With Bryan off the card this week, someone had to step up. Two matches in one night for The Great White made sure someone worked hard in the ring this week. He may not have been anyone’s first choice to dethrone Dean Ambrose, but make no mistake, Sheamus will work every week, against whoever the WWE wants him to.

2: Evolution: These guys are pissed, but seem to be outmatched against The Shield. Regardless, the faction’s experience and strength will always ensure that they are never completely out of any battle. With that in mind and a rematch against The Shield all set for Payback, this war is still heating up.

1: The Shield: Between their promo work and in-ring ability, The Shield is the best trio in the sport today and continues to establish and develop a legacy that will ensure all three members go on to have wonderful singles careers. With Daniel Bryan on the shelf the next few weeks, expect Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins to be at the top of every RAW card until the WWE World Heavyweight Champion comes back.
