Review Fix Exclusive: John Greenleaf Talks ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’

Review Fix chats with director John Greenleaf, who discusses Boomerang Theatre’s new productions, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Shakespeare’s “A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM,” directed by  Greenleaf will be presented in Central Park (69th Street and Central Park West), June 21-July 20, 2014.

About the Boomerang Theatre:

In the past fifteen years, the Boomerang Theatre Company has produced 55 full productions, including eight world premieres, seven New York City premieres and reinvented producing in repertory for small theatres. In 2008, the company was the recipient of the Caffe Cino Fellowship from the New York Innovative Theatre Awards for consistent production of outstanding work. Boomerang has been awarded two New York Innovative Theatre Awards for Burning the Old Man by Kelly McAllister, and been nominated eight times in total. Boomerang also received a 2002 OOBR Award for The Misanthrope by Moliere, and was selected as a September 2005 recipient of The STAR Initiative from WNYC radio. He also stars in Ziggurat Interactive’s World Championship Boxing Manager 2, where he performs the VO of nearly every male character in the game. He also worked on the Atari VCS’s BPM Boy.
