WWE Main Event Coverage: A Smooth Step Ahead

This week’s WWE Main Event was a bit calm. Although tensions between Rusev and Jack Swagger built excitement for the WWE universe, the match card was average as the new tag team of Kofi Kingston and Big E. Langston began their journey, while Seth Rollins continued to make the most of opportunities.

Matches:

Jack Swagger w/Zed Colter vs Rusev w/Lana: Rusev was in control with heavy strikes until the referee threw the match out after Rusev hit Swagger in the gut with the Russian flag. The All-American got a little retribution however when he connected the big boot to his face.

Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods vs. Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil: O’Neil destroyed his opponent until Kingston and Big E worked together and hit the Backbreaker, Stomp combination on both Slater and O’Neil for the win.

Fandango vs. Seth Rollins: Fandango dropped kick Rollins which sent him out of the ring earlu and allowed Fandango to dance, but Rollins got the last laugh as he defeated his opponent with the Blackout.
