WWE RAW Power Rankings: Youth-Inspired, When Not Begging for 10 Bucks

A huge card was solid enough primer for the upcoming Summerslam PPV, but make no mistake, this week’s WWE RAW will go down as one of the most embarrassing in sports entertainment history.

The ferocity that the WWE tried to sell the WWE Netword was almost like a homeless person asking for change.

Worse than the ones in that episode of “South Park.”

Just heartless.

Check out this week’s RAW Power Rankings to see who got the job in and out of the ring, when the company wasn’t mentioning the WWE Network.

Honorable Mention: Bo Dallas: He’s hilariously annoying. His finisher needs work and his presence is just weird. But he’s got something. And it could be special if it’s cultivated properly.

5: Roman Reigns: At this point in his singles career, you wouldn’t expect Reigns to handle Kane so well, but he did this week, beating him in a Last Man Standing match after a Superman Punch and a Spear. It appears Randy Orton is next at Summerslam. Although the WWE brass has made it clear he’s not quite ready for a shot at the WWE title, can an Intercontinental title run in the near future be in Reigns’ cards?

4: Dolph Ziggler: The man is due. With no more World Heavyweight title and the United States title meaning next to nothing, the modern day people’s champion needs gold. He’s put in his time- he’s earned his stripes. His win over Cesaro this week is further proof of his talent, but also of his popularity. When have WWE fans stood by a guy this much, during the lowest of lows and highest of highs?

3: Seth Rollins: With no John Cena, Brock Lesnar or Randy Orton in the ring this week on RAW, Rollins carried the load just fine. Just like his rival Dean Ambrose, Rollins more than held his own against a former WWE Champion in Rob Van Dam, cough, Heath Slater. Although the main event was more an act of comedy, it was certainly entertaining.

2: The Wyatt Family: Win, lose or draw, these guys always find a way to make an impact. Bray Wyatt’s decimation of Chris Jericho, combined with Luke Harper’s continued progression in the ring and Erick Rowan’s brute grit, this trio is easily one of the best in WWE history.

1: Dean Ambrose: Don’t take his 15-minute match with Alberto Del Rio lightly. Although it ran a bit too long, you don’t see either Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns wrestling matches that long. Simply put, Ambrose is the diamond in the rough of former Shield members and will continue to grow over time.
