With a solid card that served as much more than a tease before the next NXT Takeover event, all of the promotions stars were in action in a show that was far from filler. All that aside, the announcement of Kenta’s debut was more than enough to make this week’s show memorable.
Matches:
Alexa Bliss vs. NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair: Bliss held her own with several high-flying maneuvers, but her strikes did nothing to stun the champion. After a Tilt-a-Whirl Gutbuster Flair was in enough control to nail her Seated-Cutter for the win. After the match, Bayley hit the ring and demanded Flair take her seriously. Instead she got face-washed before retaliating with a sloppy as hell Belly-to-Bailey Suplex
Tyler Breeze vs. Tye Dillinger: The Tag-Team specialist Dillinger wasn’t a pushover, but Breeze got the win with the Beauty Shot.
Tyson Kidd vs. Adam Rose: The WWE’s resident party animal hit some signature offense, but Kidd got the submission win with the Sharpshooter.
Sami Zayn vs. Marc Louis w/Sylvester LeForte: Although it took a bit longer than it should, Zayn won with the Complete Shot/Koji Clutch combination.
NXT Champion Adrian Neville vs. CJ Parker: Neville wasted no time and beat Parker with the Red Arrow, although Parker hit a nice Tilt-a-Whirl Sideslam to make things interesting.
Sin Cara and Kalisto vs. Aiden English and Simon Gotch: After a few minutes of solid tag team action, Cara was able to take out English on the outside, which allowed Kalisto to hit the Sunrise Reverse DDT before Sin Cara finished off Gotch with the Top Rope Senton Bomb.
