Two new champions and plenty of feuds brewing, TNA looks to have hit some sort of creative stride.
Check out this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who else starred in another damn-good episode of Impact.
Honorable Mention: Rockstar Spud: Fans hate Ethan Carter III and desperately want to see him her his rear kicked. While Spud may not be the best guy to do it, he’s the guy who has an opportunity to. Powered by raw energy and a bulldog approach in the ring, don’t let his size fool you. With an ability to sell, he’s going to make EC3 look stronger than ever, but he’s going to eventually get his licks in as well.
5: Taryn Terrell: The new Knockout Champion, Terrell put on awesome show against two talented performers in Havoc and Gail Kim. Finally obtaining the title that eluded her during her tenure in the company, now is the time for Terrell to cast all doubt on her aside. Beautiful and armed with a respectable and deadly finisher, she has the ball in her court. Now it’s just her time to run with it.
4: Bram: It’s very rare that Tommy Dreamer gets beaten in a hardcore match, but TNA’s new hardcore dominator is something special. It also helps that he’s got former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Magnus on his side, but even by himself, Bram is a hardcore performer from another time. If you grew up during the ‘90s and ECW’s run of glory, Magnus is a guy that would have fit in perfectly there.
3: Low Ki: His road back to the X-Division crown has been a long one, with stints in the WWE and all over the world in-between. But after all the drama, Ki has the title back around his waist and looks primed to be a fighting champion and one that will restore credibility to the division.
2: Bobby Lashley: He was one of the most dominant World Champions TNA has ever had. But can he still hunt? He wants his title back, but needs to find some type of fire or passion to bring his feud with Roode alive. The fact that it’ll be a great match might not be good enough.
1: Bobby Roode: He’s pissed and wants a piece of Lashley. While it’s not going to be a cakewalk by any stretch of the imagination, Roode has become the fighting champion the company needs right now.
