TNA Impact Wrestling Coverage: ECIII Moving Up the Card

Plenty of drama in the mid-card, the development of the Kurt Angle/Ethan Carter III feud and plenty of in-ring action made sure once again that Impact Wrestling was the best wrestling show on Wednesday.

With a nice blend of established stars and young talent, Impact Wrestling is slowly gaining momentum and is finding the type of consistency it needs, even if the ratings don’t exactly show it.

Eddie Edwards w/Davey Richards vs. Bobby Roode: Ah, the dirty heels. After Roode says Austin Aries isn’t cleared to wrestle, Roode takes on Edwards by himself, but Edwards is more up to the task than anyone expected. After Roode motions in Aries, who brings in a chair, Edwards gets the win over the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion with a School Boy.

Bram vs. Joseph Park: Bram talked a big game before the match and although Park almost won with the Chokeslam, Bram got the win with a Spear through a table.

Awesome Kong and Brooke vs. The Dollhouse: Marti Bell and Jade: The Dollhouse had no chance here. After Kong nailed Bell with the Chokeslam, Brooke jumped off the top of Kong’s shoulders and hit the Big Elbow for the win. With the win, both Brooke and Kong have secured future title shots at the Knockouts Championship.

Zema Ion vs. Jessie Godderz: Godderz got the submission win with the Boston Crab, but Robbie E. made the save before Godderz could really hurt Ion.

Bobby Lashley vs. Ethan Carter III w/Tyrus: This was a wacky one as Tyrus took out three referees and ECIII needed to use a chair and the One-Percenters to get the win over Lashley.
