WWE RAW Coverage: Cena Eyes Rollins, Taker vs. Lesnar a Reality

Thanks to a beefy card and drama between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker and a possible match between John Cena and Seth Rollins, this week’s Monday Night RAW was a wild one- at times

At other times, the show just plodded along, thanks to matches between Luke Harper and Roman Reigns and a main event that did little to capitalize on the drama between Taker and Lesnar. Overall, in spite of a few cool moments and some scene setting for Summerslam, this week’s RAW burnt out fast.

Matches:

Charlotte Flair w/Paige and Becky Lynch vs. Brie Bella w/Divas Champion Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox: Bella got in her licks, but Flair again dominated and got the win with the Spear and Figure-Eight.

The Primetime Players Darren Young and Titus O’Neil vs. Los Matadores w/El Torito: After the distraction from The New Day, one of the Matadores hit the Back Cracker on O’Neil for the surprising win.

The Miz vs. The Big Show: Show got the quick win with the Elbow Drop from the second rope.

Roman Reigns w/Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper w/Bray Wyatt: A lengthy match that ended after all four competitors beat on each other and got the match thrown out.

Paige and Becky Lynch w/Charlotte Flair vs. NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and Naomi w/Tamina Snuka: Up until this point, this was the match of the night as every competitor had a moment to shine. Paige nearly got the win after he latched on the PTO on Naomi, but Banks broke it up and hit the Bank Statement on Paige for the submission win.

Cesaro, Randy Orton and United States Champion John Cena vs. Sheamus, Kevin Owens and Rusev w/Summer Rae: After Owens and Sheamus walked out of the match, Rusev was nailed with all three of his opponents’ finishing maneuvers and was pinned after the RKO.
