Impact Wrestling Power Rankings: Bully In Charge

Three major title defenses, a new Knockouts champion and plenty of mid-card drama led to another high-quality episode of Impact Wrestling this past week. With a new General Manager in Bully Ray, things are sure to heat up even more this summer.

Check out this week’s Impact Wrestling Power Rankings to see who else starred in a well-balanced episode of Impact that could have long-reaching ramifications.

Honorable Mention: Dixie Carter: Her return to Impact Wrestling made sure that the promotion has at least a sense of stability for the time being.

5: Brooke Tessmacher: The new Knockouts Champion, Tessmacher ended Taryn Terrell’s lengthy run. Where can she take the division now? Will Awesome Kong now challenge her for the title? And if so, can the spunky new champion hold on to her new strap?

4: Tigre Uno: The X-Division is now all-about high-flying action again and even though Uno isn’t exactly the brightest light in TNA, he’s done a good job of keeping the pace of his matches fun and energetic.

3: Drew Galloway: A week after the dissolving of The Rising, Galloway found a way to stay pertinent. He may not have that TNA World Heavyweight title pedigree just yet, but he had a great match with Ethan Carter III and has proven he belongs in a higher tier in TNA.

2: Bully Ray: Although he’s not in the ring anymore, Ray’s skills on the mic and penchant for drama make him a great choice as Impact General Manager.

1: Ethan Carter III: In his second week as TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Carter got the win against a hungry Drew Galloway. Sure his Aunt Dixie may not be showing him the favoritism he deserves, but he’s still a capable champion with plenty of charisma.
