NXT Power Rankings: Balor Ready for Takeover

With the NXT debuts of Apollo Crews and Justin “Thunder” Liger set for NXT Takeover Brooklyn and Bayley’s special win over Charlotte Flair, this past week’s NXT was awesome.

Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who looks to take advantage of a stacked card at NXT Takeover Brooklyn.

Honorable Mention: Bull Dempsey: His vignettes were funny at first, but slowly and surely, Dempsey has made himself an endearing character and one that fans can get behind.

5: Baron Corbin: How much longer until Corbin faces a real challenge? This sheer dominance is getting old now.

4: Samoa Joe: With a win over Rhino, Joe makes his case even clearer for a shot at the NXT title.

3: Bayley: After years of busting her hump, doing jobs and failing to win the big one, Bayley got a wonderful win over Charlotte Flair this past week on NXT. With a win over Emma a few weeks ago as well, she’s on a huge role. Now the clear front-runner for Sasha Banks’ NXT title, it’ll be interesting to see what she does next.

2: Kevin Owens: This will probably be the last match of Owens’ NXT career. but expect it to be a wonderful one, especially now that it’s a ladder match. Taking on opponents from all corners and now dealing with Cesaro and RAW, Owens certainly has his hands full right now.

1: Finn Balor: The reigning and defending NXT Champion is confident, but he’s ready to take on Kevin Owens in Brooklyn. While it stinks that he hasn’t been in the ring much the past few weeks, expect him to bring it in two weeks.
