Impact No Surrender Power Rankings: ECIII Takes Down Matt Hardy, Jarrett Ready to Lead

Jeff Jarrett is in charge and Ethan Carter III is still the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. With Austin Aries’ departure as well and a beefy card, this past week’s episode of Impact managed to hit a few high notes.

Check out this week’s Impact Power Rankings to see who else made the most of No Surrender.

Honorable Mention: Mr. Anderson: Although he got the snot beat out of him after the match, it was nice to see former the TNA World Heavyweight Champion get a win over the much younger Bram.

5: Eli Drake: His win over Drew Galloway was a good step for the youngster, but we aren’t impressed just yet.

4: Gail Kim: Her win over the Dollhouse is only step one. She needs a clean win over Taryn Terrell. Then and only then will she feel ready to reclaim the Knockout title. One of the most dominant female performers ever, Kim’s return to TNA solidifies a weaker than usual Knockouts division.

3: Rockstar Spud: His win over Austin Aries puts him in with the elite X-Division stars in the company. With Tigre Uno lacking a real challenger, can Spud be the guy to save the once dominant X-Division?

2: Jeff Jarrett: With Bully Ray taken out, Jarrett has “volunteered” to be in charge of TNA. Given an opportunity to run the show next week, can he add some much-needed spice to the show?

1: Ethan Carter III: Beating Matt Hardy is tough enough, but doing it in a hardcore ladder match is buts. Taking everything Hardy threw at him, Carter continues to prove he’s more than just a cocky heel.
