Ring of Honor: Field of Honor Coverage: Two Months Too Late

Shame on Ring of Honor.

Nothing tells their fanbase that they don’t care than to show matches from two months ago and try to pass them off as worthwhile. While Field of Honor was a cool experience, ROH needs to keep ROH TV as fresh as possible. While storylines have never been their strength or their preference, they need to put their best foot forward, all the time. Otherwise, how are they different from TNA? Another show that tapes their stuff and rarely surprises its audience?

At this point, there’s simply no reason to watch this show anymore on Destination America, when all of this footage is old news that has been on wrestling sites for months.

Mark and Jay Brisco vs. Alex Shelley and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Kushida: There was plenty of fanfare for Shelly’s first match back in ROH after he was injured int he Super J tournament. Showing no signs of injury, Shelly was up to his usual technically sound tricks, while Kushida too was flying around. The Briscoes got the win after Jay hit the Double Underhook Driver on Shelly.
