Away from the announcement of another signing to the NXT brand and Finn Balor’s upcoming encounter with Adrian Neville, this week’s episode of NXT was one void of drama and excitement. Check out this week’s NXT Power Rankings to see who thrived in the NXT mid-card in an otherwise forgettable week of NXT programming.

Honorable Mention: Christopher Girard: Even in a losing effort to Apollo Crews this week, Girard was solid and showcased a tough as nails and a straight-ahead offense that could make him a favorite of the NXT Universe moving forward. Although everyone knew he wasn’t going to beat Crews, Girard made you think it was a possibility a few times.

5: Tommaso Ciampa: Getting a bit of a mid-card push, Ciampa got another win this week, this time over the now departed Bull Dempsey. In solid shape and possessing an intriguing Arm-Bar variation submission, the Indie star has the ability to stick around in NXT.
